You need to choose the right diaper. Opt for a diaper that provides maximum comfort and absorbency while being discreet under your workout attire. Look for slim-fitting diapers that offer a secure fit and minimize bulkiness. I’ve always preferred Tranquility’s line of products for ultra discreteness. They offer both plastic and cloth-backed products, allowing you to find what works best for you.
You need to wear appropriate clothing. Choose workout clothing that helps conceal the diaper. Loose-fitting or layered clothing can help mask any potential bulges or outlines. Dark-colored bottoms, such as black or navy, may also help to minimize visibility. Consider wearing compression shorts or leggings over your diaper. These can help compress the diaper against your body, providing a more streamlined appearance and reducing the chances of it being noticeable. Make sure to use the restroom and change your diaper before your workout session to minimize the chances of needing a change during your workout. Emptying your bladder before exercising can also help reduce the need for frequent urination.
If you’re going to work out for a while, be sure to change often. Familiarize yourself with the gym's changing facilities and locate a private or designated area where you can discreetly change your diaper if needed. This can provide you with a comfortable and private space to manage your needs. The scent of sweat and urine trapped in a diaper will be noticeable by others faster than normal, so be respectful and keep yourself clean. Also keep in mind how the diaper will rub against your inner thighs while working out. One diaper’s plastic may work better against your skin. Be careful wearing creams or oils down there, too; you may find that they eat away at the diaper and cause leaks far sooner than expected.
Select the right exercises while you’re working out in a diaper. Opt for exercises that don't put excessive pressure on the diaper and your genitals. Low-impact exercises such as stationary biking, elliptical training, or weightlifting are often more suitable. Avoid exercises that involve excessive jumping or bouncing.
If you feel nervous about working out in a public gym, you could always find solutions to work out while at home. You can invest in a treadmill, some weights, and a weight-lifting bench to keep yourself in tip-top shape while still maintaining your dignity.
1: Throw away all of your underwear (but keep your bras if you’re a lady!). This leaves you nothing but diapers to wear as underwear, and as we all know, wearing nothing down there can lead to some irritation. Not good for princess parts! Throwing away all of your undies ensures that you’ll have to wear diapers, and nothing but diapers. If you want to truly commit to this, then do that, or if you’re on the fence about it and want to try it out, stash all of your undies in a backpack or something that you can lock or put a lock on, then give that key to your bestie and have them not give it back until a week, two weeks, a month, or however long you feel like! 1a. Buy a large supply of diapers. I chose to go with the Abena M4 for starters, and have kept with it all the way through. For when you start dribbling (see below!), you can switch to a thinner diaper, like the cloth backed Abena M2. For lighter days, I’ve found that tena makes some decent diapers, same with Tranquility/Select...
