The right clothing is quite essential when diaper training and when you become dependent on diapers. The right article of clothing can make your day super easy or really hard. Gone are the days of wearing form-fitting and revealing clothes; that’s just but one of the many sacrifices one must give up to transition to a better life back in diapers. Wouldn’t you feel more confident diapered in an outfit that completely disguises your diaper? You don’t need to worry about what people see or think of you because they won’t be able to see your diaper through your clothes.
When it comes to wearing diapers when it’s hot outside, baby powder can help keep you dry. However, if you use too much, I’m certain you are aware that it can create quite a cloud of powder every time you sit down. The back of your shirt will be covered in the comforting white powder, both on the outside and inside, a telltale sign that something is up. Drawing unnecessary attention to your diaper and your needs is something we don’t want, naturally, so instead of pouring the powder down the front and back of your diaper (like I used to do), you should dump some into your hands and rub it into the affected areas, including everywhere the diaper will touch. This includes your genitals, butt, and legs. If you use too much, it can start to lessen the diaper’s ability to absorb. A little goes a long way.
Keep a bottle of water with ice in it with you at all times. Not only will this help you stay hydrated and flowing into your diaper, you’ll stay cool both from drinking cold water and from holding the cold water bottle against your skin. The worst thing you can do during diaper training is holding your bladder so to ensure that you always flow, you must always keep yourself hydrated to make sure that you always flow.
1: Throw away all of your underwear (but keep your bras if you’re a lady!). This leaves you nothing but diapers to wear as underwear, and as we all know, wearing nothing down there can lead to some irritation. Not good for princess parts! Throwing away all of your undies ensures that you’ll have to wear diapers, and nothing but diapers. If you want to truly commit to this, then do that, or if you’re on the fence about it and want to try it out, stash all of your undies in a backpack or something that you can lock or put a lock on, then give that key to your bestie and have them not give it back until a week, two weeks, a month, or however long you feel like! 1a. Buy a large supply of diapers. I chose to go with the Abena M4 for starters, and have kept with it all the way through. For when you start dribbling (see below!), you can switch to a thinner diaper, like the cloth backed Abena M2. For lighter days, I’ve found that tena makes some decent diapers, same with Tranquility/Select...
